We’re Back!

Posted on December 22nd, 2006 in Meanwhile... by vinereader

The Vine Reader resumes at last!  We are now an after-school activity, once a week.  With students help we’ll be creating new podcasts.  The format may change as we go along with student input.  If we don’t get a new podcast out this month, look for it in January.

Also, look for posts here from the students in addition to me.  (Once I get it figured out okay).

Ready for the ‘06-’07 school year?  I’m ready to get going again with the Vine Reader podcast!  I’ll be aiming for at least one episode a month, beginning in September.

I hope you’ve had some great reading over the summer.  I know I have.  Not as much as I wanted to, but what I did read was good, some Great! I’m keeping a log of my reading at What Fred Read, though I need to update it.

Any ideas or suggestions, please let me know.

Stay tuned…

Introduction

The Vine Reader is based out of Vine Middle Magnet school in Knoxville, TN. I’m the librarian there. This web log is a companion to our podcast of the same name. We’ll be discussing books that I or students have read or would like to read, talk about reading, and maybe do some reading ourselves. I hope you enjoy what you find here. If you’ve got any questions or comments, please send me an email.
